I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (April 3, Lent 4), we sang this as our opening hymn. It was because the Gospel of the Day was John 9, which is Jesus healing of the blind man. It is #793 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship.
