The Day of Action in Defense of Public Education merged rallies at Balboa and marched through downtown San Diego to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's office. There they sat down, blocked traffic, and a series of speakers let the crowds demands be known.

It is our Constitution which is great. However, we have grossly departed from the Constitution. (Don't you keep up on your country?) So, waving a flag when the heart of the greatness is not there, without bringing to light the issues, is a form of tyranny, and worse, blind nationalism. You might as well be in Nazi Germany. You exhibit the same blind pride in what is no longer a great country but a deadly one, the biggest source of terrorism in the world.
