@jarjarlol yeah...right...I've owned both, it would cost more than twice as much to build that Z06. Especially if you did the work yourself because on the Cobra you could sell the factory eaton and all the plumbing to nearly break even on the price of the turbo kit.
-
Damn, both cars sound nasty!
-
@jarjarlol so the reality is it would be cheaper and less of a pain to swap an eaton and 39lb injectors for a K.B 2.8H and install 60lb injectors and a new fuel pump and a tune. end result with 20lbs of boost 720Rwhp+ in less than 10 hours of work
-
@jarjarlol no it wont it would cost a lot less for the cobra.. more like 4 grand just for a new supercharger + injectors and pump 800.00 you install you tune. a vette would be a new supercharger 5,000+ heads 1,500 + cams 250+ plus gaskets 300+ plus new rods 800+ new pistons 800+ plus ARP harware 800+ tune yourself if you have the software, Injectors 300+ fuel pump and add about 1 week of work if your dedicated and you do everything yourself to include making sure you shortblock is balanced
-
@santiagomel00 If you did the installs yourself, which any car guy should learn how to do, it would cost almost exactly the same for the vette or cobra.
-
@autofloweroutdr whats false? z06 aint forged son try boosting 14lbs on a z06 without building the bottom end. even 10lbs aint gonna hold up too long
-
@santiagomel00 false

the z06must a spent a grip to throw in supercharger and build the bottom end throw in heads and cam. 15k easily, cobra maybe 8k. good race.
