Gigi Sohn, President and Co-Founder of Public Knowledge, discusses how the proposed AT&T purchase of T-Mobile would harm consumers. For more info, visit http://www.publicknowledge.org/attt-mobile
@esposito347 And to what you said about her wanting people to pay more, T-Mobile now has a plan called the Best. Plan. Ever. Where you get 2 lines with unlimited talk text and data for $100 a month. The only downside is that after you hit the 2 GB mark on your data the service drops down from 4g to 3g speeds, but it is still UNLIMITED. Does AT&T off a comparable plan at such an affordable price? Hell, I don't think AT&T even has an unlimited data package anymore.
@esposito347 I am a T-Mobile customer and I do NOT want this merger with AT&T to happen. I used to be with Cingular and when that merger happened the customer service went down, and my coverage was even worse. There is a reason why I'm with T-mobile, because I do not want to be with AT&T or Verizon. T-mobiles customer service, rates, and phone prices are all around better. You don't seem to understand that with less competition comes higher prices and less features.
thats a dumb, it will mean more calling for FREE. the so called President and Co-Founder of Public Knowledge just wants the customer to pay more. all of you ppl are nuts. more free calling no more wasting mins.
please make this big please i dont want AT&T i dont like them this is a big deal and is not getting threw and it will have a major affect please stop i sent a letter
What about your AT&T, Qualcomm filing, which is larded with 8 pages of conditions at the end? Y'all aren't going to attempt that same two-step behind closed doors, er, I mean via the ex parte process? C'mon, Gigi. This is more of the camel's nose under the tent, as you well know.
