  • Thank you so much! I had this on video when I was younger...my mum taped it from xmas tv...and was gutted when she threw it away and i have been searching for it ever since!!

  • I only clicked on this at random. I had no memory of this at all. But I see the part at the beach and I remember it. I was probably only four years old. I was practically still a toddler. This has got to be fate at work. I seriously had no memory of this until now. Sorry for rambling, so much nostalgia.....

Thank you so much for putting this up. It's probably the earliest memory that I have. It's had no place in my mind for 14 years. :-o

  • Haha !! I know the person that played the young girl !!

  • The music in this is just divine

  • It's strange, I pretty much forgot this too but I've always had a vague memory of the part where they go to the seaside and wondered what it was from. I found this by accident whilst looking for "The Bear"; one of the adaptations of the Raymond Briggs books. I love this though, makes me think of my own Granpa, or "Abba" as I call him.

  • i was gonna say, like if 25 ppl disliked, 25 people didnt know teddy was a little GIRL! but woop woop nobody disliked, some things just dont need a dislike button at all :)

  • i remember this especially the beach scenes i'm currently righting on the essay on the book this is adapted from

  • I just updated the Wikipedia Granpa article to point to this video clip. Let's keep this piece of art alive so the next generation of kids can be touched by this story.

  • I remember this! = D

Maybe I'll see if I can remake the Roller Coaster in RCT2 sometime...

  • Jeez I hadn't seen this in around 13 years when I was 6 or 7 ... wow I remember it all :)
