Hollow-Pro™ tools innovative approach to free-hand hollow turning gives beginner and seasoned woodturners alike the tools they need to be successful. At the heart of the Hollow-Pro™ system is a proprietary internal swivel tip cutter assembly with razor-sharp carbide cutter positioned at a negative angle. This design places the cutter in a trailing position making it less aggressive and easier to control. The swivel tip cutter can be locked in position at any angle you desire and is fully interchangeable between tools. In addition to the carbide cutters, the M4 scraper blade is ideal for making tissue-thin clean up cuts prior to sanding. Hollow-Pro tools and swivel tip cutters are sold separately.

1/2" tools are 10" long and 5/8" tools are 15" long. Will fit in any handle with a 5/8" hole. Includes allen wrench and 2 tightening screws.

Choosing the right tool
Bent tools are designed specifically for use on hollow forms, particularly those with a small opening. The 1/2" bent tool is recommended for use on pieces up to 8" diameter. It is also highly recommended for undercutting the first portion of larger hollow forms with the balance of the work up to 16" being done with the 5/8" bent tool.
Straight tools are useful not only for hollowing, they also perform exceptionally well for hogging away wood on open bowls and other forms regardless of grain orientation.

About Cutter Sizes
