One piece of the story that was recently in OUR STATE magazine ( a North Carolina publication) was that Niles returned to try to find the little girl who sang this for him but was never able to do so—he looked continuously until his death...

It is too fast, but I am assuming you maybe weren't able to change the tempo on your accompaniment. The singing was very good, though.

Yep, it was too fast, and I should have adjusted the tempo. Later a friend Ken Bank and I did a slower version with him accompanying on his Uke.
