  • Thank you for your comments. It is possible to further perform what you call edge blending and make the image seamless. Note that this can be done without any extra (manual) procedure. In fact, a seamless image was displayed in the omitted part of the video. (We employed here a simple blending method that uses the estimated geometry of the images: the brightness of the overlayed image areas is attenuated so as to make the final image seamless.)

  • Pretty sweet for some old school stuff.

  • For some people that asking for multiscreening and edge blending you can search for a software application called VJ Mode from SoniconLab. You can set different keystone for each screen and also do edgeblending for permanent - or not - installations

  • Hi. Thanks for the video.

What program are you using to manage the projections?

I want to do this very thing. 4 projectors, stacked 2x2, each showing 1/4 of the image. My monitor should display the whole image and allow me to divide this image into quadrants and then assign a quadrant to its respective projector.

    Please help :)

  • Very nice. i have just one projector, but i gonna buy least another one. I like multimonitor system very much. Sorry about my bad english. I live in finland.

  • This is all very good. However, you know this solution is lacking one very important aspect of multi-projector systems.... EDGE BLENDING! This is the part of multi-projector systems that soften the edges of eash projected image to make it seamless. This solution clearly does not do that as there are very clear bright spots where the projectors overlap.

    Any comments here?

  • Clever!
