Porsche 998 Spyshots

Some spyshots of the upcoming Porsche bodystyle for the 998. Also some sketches and a few renderings. The actual car will probably look like the new 911 face lift, but faster, and some minor changes, just think of every face lifted Porsche, a teaser of the new bodystyle.

Also just want to say, the 991 will be unveiled August 24th. These spy shots of the 991 are in the 997 shell, so no design features are revealed here. Currently there are spyshots circulating of the production 991 running around Zuffenhausen with nothing more but tape covering the head lights and tail lights...

how did you take this in 2008? the real spyshots emerged later didnt they?

These are early shots when Porsche was testing the 991 in the 997 shell (it was so early that no 991 shells had been conceived as of then). If youre wondering the 991 will have 350hp (3.4l), the 991 S 400hp (3.8l). The 991 S will run the Nordschleife in 7:37 in its best configuration. The wheelbase is 4 inches longer, and the roof is 1.3 inches lower, much 918 inspiration. The new sportexhaust inspires awe. There is MUCH more to be said, but in short, the best 911 ever. The date is August 24th..

Can't you tell?? Look at the fender flairs and the wing. Also llok at the exhaust and where the liscense plate goes. And look at the restyled rims.
