@evanswebdesignnz I agree. My school was affiliated with the WTF but from what I remember of my training we fought like the ITF guys (just with different sparring gear). I can't begin to tell you how...awkward it feels to watch these videos yet sparsely find videos that show Self-defense demonstrations with realism in it.

@Olimpicox Improvise, adapt, over come. If you can't kick high b/c of knee injury kick low. It's surprising how many flaws there are in regards to body mechanics with the sport style of TKD the Kukiwon does...almost every guy I've talked to who trains in it has had some kind of injury.

Last week, I flew into Korea for work and I had a time to visit the Palace to watch them practice. They are awsome ! Thanks for letting me watch. They were enjoying what they were doing which is great. I loved it.
