Yup, but I was more pointing toward the easy control and the whole don't pay for every bullet or pay for every shot taken mechanic.

it's impossible to not get hit in this game.
The sheer number of enemies makes a no hit run impossible, what with respawning.

The "wing mates" in this game aren't very useful, are they?

Most of the time when you see them they have unrepairable units that have been abandoned, or maybe they go to sections that you don't go to and you never see them! But for whenever you do see them, they are mostly gone. :(
