Butterscotch My Love

At age 16, Butterscotch - he's still got it and he's still my love more than ever.

He has had diabetes the last two years. He is showing his age, but still such a lover and obviously a ham. Please get your cat checked for diabetes if he has lost weight suddenly or drinking a lot of water. The vet told me for years that Butterscotch was overweight. I fed him low fat food, less treats etc. But he ended up diabetic anyway. It's really hard watching him deal with the side affects - weak back legs, I have to feed him special diet & give him two shots everyday. Anyway, no matter what, he still makes my day & I do my best to make his. So here's to my buddy Butterscotch ...

@RomanSedlak thanks for your comment! he's legs are weak, especially the back ones. But -- so far so good -- as he still has no problem jumping up on 'his' chair!

i'm getting my cat a treadmill.... He's so über lazy. all he does all day is sleep, eat and watch Tv. He even knows how to use the remote. No seriously he steps on the remote untill the tv goes on
