  • Hi i think ur nose stud looks great! Wat size is that? Im thinking of buying a 3mm size stud but i dont know wat it looks like or just how big it is!

  • @princess4eva1193 To be honest I don't know what size it is other than it's pretty much the smallest you can buy. the gauge is very small so it helps with swelling.

  • i randomly came across your video because i'm thinking of getting mine done...& can i just say that you seem like the nicest person ever?! =)

  • Well thank you very much! I try and remember that nobody likes to be around someone grumpy and mean and it seems to get me pretty far in life. Good luck getting your nose pierced it's one of my favorite flamboyant things I have done. Do you have any questions?

  • Will a nose bone stud fall out when your sleeping???

  • @tinytess9 You are very welcome.I'm glad you're on here telling others know the truth about piercings and being able to hear and see what it's all about. If I can drop enough weight & keep it down (diff w/lupus/Sjogren's) I'd love to have the navel piercing back but if not, I'm happy w/my nose piercing. I went ahead despite the fact I can't fight infection well b/c of lupus/Sjogren's. I'd do it again if given the chance. It's nice to take control of something I wanted for me.

  • @PaisleyPlace THanks for all of your helpful comments.

  • If you have health probs, always consult your doc. He/she may surprise you w/their support. Mine did esp considering he was late 80s/early 90s & it was prior to his partial retirement. Think long & hard b4 getting a piercing or tattoo but if you have a life-threatening/altering condition, don't let it take over your life. I'm thankful I didn't. It did a world of good esp in controlling my depression. I felt almost normal after the healing & how nice my piercing looked; I'm 40 now w/no regrets.

  • It's important to note that I have lupus (SLE) & Sjogren's disease. I got tired of the diseases taking over my life so after consulting w/the Lupus Foundation, I took control of my life back. I got a long awaited tattoo on my upper lft wrist, navel piercing, then later a nose piercing. I learned I was allergic to nickel after losing the navel piercing to infection. (lupus-related - I have an exc.. piercing artist & an open-minded dr). I had to remove the navel piercing but the nose piercing -gr8

  • I've had my nose pierced for about as long as Tinytess. It didn't really hurt that much. I have a small nose & more cartilage so mine was prob a little more painful but NOT excruciatingly so. I had the one teardrop that almost always occurs when getting a nose piercing. It's not from pain tho'; it's a reaction the body makes (from my piercer whose gr8 @ his job btw). Initially, I wore a nose screw I had to order b/c I'm allergic to nickel. I wear a special European type gold w/o any nickel.
