600 € for home made cockpit !! you're mad an official playseat cost the same even if its a shit.
I have a project that will cost less than 250 € and better quality and functionality than yours.
peugeot 206 semi racing seat : 30 € (used)
G25 : 165 € (new)
wood & screws & paint & etc : 45 € (new & quality)

well, i don't know the price for the g25 right now.
good for you when you get a used racing seat that cheap.
i used the expensive and high quality wood. it is very hard and the construction is stiff.
and yes, official playseats are shit.
you can't say anything about the quality and functionality about my seat because you never saw it and never tried it out. i'm very satisfied with it. so built your racing seat and the show it to me please.

hi, the logitech g 25 was about 250,-€ , the sabelt seat the same , and the material was about 100€.
equals 600€. but then you have a racing seat which matches your proportions perfectly. it is my own constrution and i'm proud of it, looks good and when u don't need it you can flip the hole pedal-thing back and then it is about 1.20m long and you can put it away.
