Hats#1 - CONCORSO BORSALINO

Video in finale al concorso "Al cinema con il cappello", promosso dalla Fondazione Borsalino, in collaborazione con Mymovies e il Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.

La tematica è il rapporto tra cappello e identità.
Il video, studiato per essere riprodotto su schermo verticale, presenta una successione di ritratti di gente comune catturata lungo strade di New York.
La volontà è mettere lo spettatore di fronte ai personaggi che si susseguono cercando di instaurare un rapporto di scambio tra i due, in un gioco di giudizi - pregiudizi, intenzioni e spontaneità, ecc.

Hats#1 is one of 5 short movies finalists for Borsalino Competition, about hats and identity.

We've filmed people walking around the streets of New York, wearing hats in different ways.
We decided to shoot in vertical mode because our intention was to take a portrait of them with a photographic approach, but showing their attitude and personality through movement in very slowmo.

The spectator, staying in front of the monitor, is brought to think in so many different ways about that person, with prejudice or instinct or maybe sharing their way of being and appear.
