What really happened in Japan

The Death and Destruction that Japan is still dealing with is the product of their own arrogance. 22,000 people have died because the Japanese government tried to sneak an underwater testing of a nuclear bomb. Everything that has happened since then is just a cover-up. The convenience of having a nuclear power plant that just happens to be using Uranium fuel rods right on the shore is the perfect tool to cover up the weapons testing.
Think about it. Why are they refusing to let any other country assist in the repair and clean-up? Because there is no damage to their nuclear power plants. They just don't want anyone looking over their shoulder while they figure out what went wrong.

Funny, I seem to recall mentioning in theory that the radiation levels would keep rising if the Japanese Navy couldn't retrieve the core.... and radiation levels are higher today than a than they were 6 months ago. Would seem the Japanese Navy couldn't recover their football. Chernobyl's core didn't burn this long and they were using Pluto-enriched rods too.

Seems like it might not be a Reactor Core melting down but rather a bomb core cooling off.
