Pina will always be my hero and inspiration. How now so painfull and meaningful to see her dance this lament.

I'd guess the first piece is about institutionalisation. First of all the authority figure defines you as ill & forces you to play the victim...eventually you do it for yourself, without any forcing.

Really great art (like this) is unfortunately a little bit beyond explanation. If you could put this sentiment in words, you wouldn't have to make the dance. And what it means to me isn't necessarily what it means to you, nor should it. I know that's a frustrating answer, but it's the best one I've come up with.
