@dave00075ie I'm running on a vista laptop, it is around 5 years old. I play WoW and it doesn't lag. I have had to get someone to fix the screen for this computer, and that's about it. My laptop hasn't come down with a virus causing my computer to crash. It runs Google Chrome fine and the UI is easy for me to use. It doesn't meet my gaming needs but that's not what It's intended for. My gripe with this computer is the bad hardware associated with laptops, not the OS. Vista is perfectly fine.

@ebaumsdidit Yea, for the viruses on Macs, about a year ago, there had been a viruse that infected Macs...but because no one wants to make viruses with Macs...it was easely countered...
But I still love PC.

Hard to explain but...
Offense always beat defense, which means if more users use it more viruses would appear, if there were more people using the mac no doubt there would be viruses.

Windows 1.0 came out in 1985; a little under 2 years after the release of the Apple Lisa, yet more than 5 years before the release of the Linux Kernel. Please get your facts straight.
As for running nothing in the background, that's just plain bullshit. Try running an activity monitor or the command ps -e, there's a ton of shit being run behind your back. Beyond this, a lack of users is not the only thing contributing to the lack of viruses for Mac; the unix base also makes it hard

@Alan1029Smith To tell you the truth, linux is better then both combined. And the fact that you don't use linux makes you a fucking noob, and or script kiddie

You couldn't give a link proving?
Yes an comeback like "oh windows stole the mac and made it better"
You still haven't proving my point.
Windows came after Mac and Linux, so why is windows having 90%?
And no, Apple has no performance, they run nothing in the back round, only visual effects. You don't see viruses because no one uses mac as much as windows.
Trust me, I actually program in windows. I tried that in mac, you need to open many many services to actually open a dll.
vista sucks!!
