We farmed about the same acreage and my dad still does now with a 4440, 7810, 4230 and 6400 with loader and they all have a lot of hours but work hard every day.

@Ticky66MN I hear you there! You would need to farm at least a couple thousand acres where i'm from to be able to afford machinery of that size and quanity. We used to farm 475 acres with a 4440, 4020 and a 6620 and we had plenty of power to do more. He must have been one hell of a farmer and marketer to generate that kind of profit. Great equipment and auction though.

thats what I thought the reason he had to sell his machinery was because he got prostate cancer and died at the age of I think 62 I could tell he was one heck of a guy by looking at his machinery
