Nah, definitely not the same guy, dude.

  • @ReddFoxxPunxx

    Are they? Ok.

PS: But still: the case could be made that it was the same guy, greatly changed over the years. (That's why I mentioned Adonis; and I could've brought up some other wrestlers who looked one way decades ago and then ballooned to a whole new look as they aged. Sh*t happens.)

  • @McRat1968 Two completely different Steve Regals.

  • Apparently so, LOL.

  • "now employed by General Motors as an executive in their vehicle marketing department."

Wow. So he was in the middle of the sh** storm?

  • I recall watching AWA's "Steve Regal" battling Buck "Rock & Roll" Zumhoff for the light-heavyweight title back in the day...

When, years down the line, I saw "Steven Regal" (nowadays known as "William Regal") of the WWE, something was amiss.

Deep down I knew it couldn't be the same guy. But, then again, years of life have been known to change peoples' appearance. (Look what happened to Keith Franke, aka "Adrian Adonis" from the time he was AWA and then ballooned to 300-400 lbs in WWF.)

  • After a run as Skinner in the WWF during the early-90s, Steve Kerin now works as a road agent for the WWE. Steve Regal, on the other hand, is no longer involved in wrestling, now employed by General Motors as an executive in their vehicle marketing department.

  • I know about Jesse Ventura's career outside of pro wrestling. Stan Lane went on to become a member of the Midnight Express with Jim Cornette as his manager. But whatever happened to Steve Keirn and Steve Regal? Steve Regal looked like he was to the AWA in the 1980s what Jeff Jarrett is to TNA today.
