Mother macaque interacting with her infant. The mutual gaze is sustained and is interrupted by gaze shifts, apparently aimed at attending the object of interest of her infant. During this face-to-face interaction, the mother is gently pulling the infant's head and seems to be particularly attracted by the eyes of the infant. What we found very common are the lipsmacks that are documented in this video. These mouth-face contacts closely resemble the human kiss. We can only speculate about the possible origin of the human kiss from these particular mother-infant grooming activities.

  • @killbabymonkeys Oh... okay! You should have told me you were an American. That explains everything. Jeez, we didn't even need to have this argument if you had said it from your first post.

Btw is it not ironic that you have over 300 favorited videos of monkeys?

  • There is no facial communication. The little bastard is so titty fixated that he won't let go to look at his mother. Bet he's sucking and jacking off at the same time. I wish I could be the one to pull him off that tit and experiment on him.

  • @MrKhanYay Look, this is America. I absolutely HATE those damn things. My idea of a good time would be to have a road filled with them, their feet glued down and I'd just keep driving over them and would listen to them scream until the last, tiny squeak.

  • @killbabymonkeys Tell me once where I have EVER said even implicitly that I place a "damned monkey above the welfare of human beings." Your attempt to make an irrelevant remark as a method of self-defense was futile and therefore I retract back to my previous statement. Go get surgically tested for brain abnormalities and neurotic anxiety problems.

  • CREATURE being the keyword

  • The little bastard won't let go of his mother's tit. Oh, well, they're in a lab so the fun should begin soon! Wish I could watch.

  • @MrKhanYay It's people like you who place a damned monkey above the welfare of human beings that belong in the labs right next to the creatures that they worship.

  • @killbabymonkeys You're the disgusting creature who has no respect for other species. You deserve to be in the lab to to be surgically tested for brain abnormalities and neurotic anxiety problems

  • Looks to me like the mother its simply grooming her babys. They all do it. Get the monkeys out of the labs! Makes me sick! that finding its ridiculas! And this is why your robbing monkeys of real love?
