These young men are not being taught the VALUE OF MANHOOD... Everything in our society tells these boys that they're somehow BENEATH a female and that she's doing them a favor if she decides to mess with them.

Ive said it all along -- these young black boys around 13-14 are shaped by his female peers and the women in his life.
He is being indirectly told that acting like a bum is the way to be by the young girls and women in his life.
I hate to say this: but I grew up in a school that was 90% white. The messages as to what I recieved was proper "manhood" was completely different to what I see most black males get in other places that are predominantly black.

While that type of behavior might be more common in the black communities, the same thing applies to Whites and Latinos. (Asians seem to be pretty focused for the most part)...
Looking back at my time in Jr. High, you have to admit that education in the school system is just not interesting at that age. A good teacher will be able capture their students interest with whatever method works, and sad thing is those types of teachers are rare. Do your job and make education fun, like it should be

i wonder what event at school provided the inspiration for this video

I knew a girl back in high school that was affected by this. She was curvy before but ended up starving herself senior year because she hated the attention from older males. It doesn't happen by and large but if her parents had been around more things probably would have turned out differently.

Tis the way it should be.

Well I have every intention of raising children that are not easily influenced by stupidity.Regardless of social life there are certain standards that I will expect them to adhere to and these standards will be non negotiable

Right. Now a challenge I've seen with that is has to be in the parent. I've noticed over time that a good number of people born from the mid 1950's up thru about the late 1960's have, to varying degrees, been involved in drug use with various detrimental effects. This has affected those born after that time in adverse ways but, we'll just have to fill in the gaps as best we can.

It is pretty obvious that the major problem here is lack of good parenting. The major influence in a young adults life should be their parents, this will allow them to adhere to parents expectations.Boys have been chasing girls and girls have been chasing boys since time immomerial this is nothing new but when youths know that they are accountable to a no- nonsense parent they are able to get their priorities right
I know this is waaayyy off topic,But guest what Theyre going to remake "The Last Dragon"And Samuel L Jackson is going to portray Sho'Nuff.
