On Monday, October 5th 2007, Telenor Pakistan successfully launched Telenor Smart Mail, a Push E-mail solution that synchronizes all your E-mails, Calendars, and Contacts between your E-mail server and your mobile handset.

With the largest EDGE and GPRS network of Pakistan, Telenor Smart Mail is the single most important product launch for its Telenor Persona postpaid customers. Corporate Users can use this service to remain connected to their offices, receiving official e-mails, synchronizing their calendars and accessing their corporate directories for contacts. Individual users can remain connected to their Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo or any POP server account.

Smart Mail is powered by Nokia's Intellisync solution, one of the most popular mobile e-mail solutions in the world and it pushes e-mails, meeting requests, calendar updates and other information to a wide range of mobile devices in real time.
