  • sweet landing

  • @FreddyTeddy1998 YES I was thinking of the same thing... keep it all Canadian...

  • I love Bombardier, the most refined products ever.

I'm a NYC subway train operator, and some of the best and smoothest trains I operate are made by Bombardier.

I've also flown in their planes, and they're like silk.

I wish Bombardier mounted a challenge to the Boeing-Airbus duopoly.

  • i think air canada should get rid of their e-jets and get the cseries

  • Would love to see a C 500, just to make things even more interesting

  • Dream on? It's doing quite well today at the Paris airshow...............lol....great display

Korean Airlines just bought 10 of them and it's selling quite well

  • A fantasy video. Dream on Bombardier

  • I happen to know from inside sources

the Challenger was indeed bought from Bill Lear and modified with the wide body design. Bombardier is not a company churning out Green sheet planes(except for the Challenger 300),

every plane in their RJ repertoire is a

Challenger 604 stretched to death or modified. What do they care. If anything goes wrong they just blackmail the Provincial and Federal governements to pour tons of free taxpayer money by the bucket fulls.

  • Bombardier had seriously looked at the 728/928 aircraft from Dornier, but walked away from it... Bombardier also looked at Fokker... They already have Canadair (who had bought the design rights to the eventual Challenger Bizjet from Lear...this was the starting point to the CRJ series); Dehavilland Canada (Dash 8 series); Lear (Learjet); and Shorts (was the 330/360 builder)

  • Actually if you look at Sukhoi, Embraer and

Bombardier you will see the similarities

to the Dornier 728....which all companies

had a chance to look at the plans and specs when Dornier went into insolvancy

    and sold the 728 project.
