Electronic Circuit Photo Montage

A closer look at the inner workings of an electronic component, in this case, a once upon a time DVD player. The stars of the show are the capacitors, resistors, ICs, and heatsinks, all taking residency on a PCB island. But this happens to be residency of the timeshare variety, as I plan on disassembling all of the components on the board and categorizing and filing away the parts for my own personal stock.

I attempted to capture different moods with the photos and achieved this by juxtaposing a cool light source with a warmer, tungsten bulb. For the cool, a flash, and for coolest, an ordinary LED rope light purchased from Target. The camera used is a Canon Eos Digital Rebel xsi
