guys i got a question i would really appriciate it if you answered it. one of my favorite drummers is dave grohl and im trying to figure out what technique he ues for his bass drum . if you got to ( bassically type dave grohl dw drums and youl see it. can someone explain what technique hes using PLEASE lol i dont know if its heel toe or what???? he said that he pounces at the pedal with the ball of his foot and sits down low to get more power???

when he breaks it down he's doing toe-toe but when he's playing it looks like heel-toe. it's less of an actual "drop and pick-up your foot to get the next beat" but the middle of your foot get's the first beat and you FOLLOW THROUGH by almost rolling up to your to toe to get the second beat. I would watch the whole video if I had the time but I don't feel free to let me know if that is explained anywhere else in the video.

only problem i have with this is i can see the beaters hitting the bass drum, but i can't hear a single stroke...like...when you guys are jammin
