@LZblkDG34 WoW :o If Regular westerners will get stared at alot, then you'l be like some sort of rare creature to them :D The only down-side to that would be getting into buildings and such. I'm only 6'2 and even so, I'l still have problems with a few buildings in there. Best of luck to you, fellow friendly giant :D

I'm 6'6", 320 pounds, and wear a size 14 shoe. Things could get troublesome for me lol.

haha, I'm an American and totally agree that we should be using the metric system. Sure, it would be a complete nightmare to do a total conversion with all instances where the imperial system is used. I suppose it's like trying to change something major about Japan. The imperial system is so ingrained in to everything that the US does that many here don't want to go through the trouble in relating distances/sizes to a new system.

The US system is so idiotic and illogical. It makes many things very hard for them and the rest of us. I would go crazy if I had to move to there and learn that shit.

Actually I'm 5'8" 140lbs. and I'm used to being kind of on the shorter side in the States but feel kind of tall here. lol. and I wear a large clothing size here vs. small to medium in the states.

i'm 6'0 and it sounds like i would fit quite nicely in japan, snug even! lol

In the 1960's and into the 70's the US did try to convert to metric but it never caught on. Since then there has been no interest in changing to metric. It would cost way to much money today to change everything over to metric. Everything in the US is standard from road signs to pencils.

Well, I have size 15 feet, so I'll be bringing shoes...

@ipiximeat perhaps you would educate me?
"I wish you americans would switch over to the metric system."
