The Patriot Act was instituted shortly after 911 by near unanimous bipartisan support.

Most of the people who voted for it never read it. It was thought to have been political suicide to vote against it. So to keep their jobs scrounging for pork, they were willing to sacrifice the Constitution.

S. 1959 will do to America what the Nazis did to Germany. It will give the government the power to label anyone they want a terrorist with no evidence to back their claim.

Anyone labeled a terrorist will not have any Constitutional Rights and will not have access to the courts. They can be held indefinitely without charge, have no right to legal council and have no right to a trial by jury.

This is exactly what the Nazis did to their detractors in Germany. The world paid an enormous price for allowing this to happen in Germany.

Our future as a free people, and world security, depend on bringing the real perpetrators of 9/11 to justice.

Amnesty proponents have framed this issue to their advantage as racial when it is actually a nationality problem. Lou, I have found that most that bad mouth or put down the National Healthcare Program Haven't even read it. I think that a lot of them after the dust clears away, They will be very surprised and may even like it. We have never had a Healthcare program. So it isn't reforming it, it is getting it. Many Americans need this right now in these times. Real help.//Any ways cann't alway agree with you on every thing but most things.
