Thank you for doing this. I am repairing a friend's eee, which had soda spilt into it. Your video is very understandable even from a novice computer person's point of view.

I found that these a set of iPod opening tools work wonders to loosen those pesky clips on the front and back of the Eee PC. Came in handy when I had to open my 2G Surf.

I was able to replaced the hard drive. I didn't want to buy a service manual.
