Great video! This inspires me even more to go back to Bolivia and have the ability to do something for these children. I have a big call in my life and I am pleased to know I'm been used by a Higher power to do it!

but i thought it said in the book that rapists and child molesterers weren't allowed in the gaol and it had that chapter about the 3 rapists that were sent to the prison and brutally killed by the majority of the inmates?

Just read the book of the Swedish guy Jonas Andersson who sat on La Posta at san Pedro. Also showing pics in that book. Its really terrifying that this kind of prison exists, but at the same time i think for some people this can be a positive "turn" in their lives, like in Jonas case. I think its very good to make people aware of what they have, and i think you are doing a really great job Tony!!

I didn't use any coke myself! I was part of a whistle stop documentary making tour of the world on race around the world. Went to the prison not to score, but to find a story.

I did not see any coke there, but have read rusty's book which is an absolute gem. Quite clearly, a cocaine economy was at the heart of San Pedro, at least when I was there all those years ago. I heard about kids being raped and in one case murdered, but this was long ago in 1998 that I visited the gaol. My visit there was supervised by the prison authorities, and my interviewee hand picked. It was quite regulated, although not as much as I expected it would be.
