This is my second year of making apple cider vinegar. in case one wonders why i need so much vinegar it's because i mix it 50/50 with my honey for all its wonderful attributes. I collected apples from friends, but this was a bad year for apples. also a bad year for honey as well. boo hoo, i only got about 2.5 gallons of honey compared to last year's 8 gallons.

  • will you please do a video to walk us through this process? I think If I saw you doing it, it would be a bit easier. Is this mix you have in the video a mix with honey already? I am a little confused.

  • @niamh2739 Not much to walk through. You have to get a good juicer and depending on how many gallons of vinegar you want, juice a couple of bushels of apples. I asked friends who have apple trees who don't spray to use their fallen and/or wormy apples. When you juice you'll have a lot of "debris" of apple that you can save or toss. I will feed some it to the dogs. The juicing is the hard part as i do core the apples, but leave the peels. And cut our the bad parts.
