That is because this game was a big rivalry matchup for this time in NBA history, especially since the bulls only defeated the suns in the finals two years prior. This is the period in the NBA where there were a lot of awesome rivalries because teams traded less, chemistry was better, and lots of intense battles between team's that had their core players maintained for several seasons. Made for much better viewing than today's lamer brand of Bball

I've been looking for this footage of Barkley's monster dunk and celebration for 15 years. I remember I intended to tape this game but took a nap and forgot to start the VCR and just watched it from the 2nd quarter till the end. Man if only I knew what that game wouldve been like.
