Last weekend i was listening to this song while next to the road waiting for a bus and everything was silent although this was the effects of burying my earphones into my ear i could see the tree's swaying by the wind and my hair moving all silently while this song playing was probably one of the only peaceful moments in my life.

This song is like 'Tea for the Tillerman'.....you wish it went on for ten times longer.

Well like I said before, it's opinion. You shouldn't hate your country because a lot of them are brain dead idiots, I do see your point, and partly agree with it, but I have an American friend and she's really smart, and I can tell you're smart too, so not every one in that country is a Retarted fuck nugget.
-
I'd say it does effect the people - give them shit - they like shit - they have shit for brains. A lot of people aren't very sophisticated in America - people on American Idol are made wealthy by braindead Americans and are considered good artists and musicians. It's actually disgusting!
-
@twochordcool Well it's opinion, I like a lot of American bands, but too be honest, a lot are shit. Oh well, it doesn't exactlly mean anything, it's not like it effects the people of the country :P

@swordofonion America IS a large country and should have the amount of great bands coming out of it as England has - but it doesn't - it's reversed actually. England has a lot of great bands for a small country - America has quite few considering it's size and population.

England is a real small country, you don't get as many bands coming from here. I'm not saying Americans can't sing - because a lot of them can! My favroutie band is Nirvana, 100% American. But it's just because America is huge, they come up with a lot of shit all the time, there's the same amount of good bands coming out as England though.
i like the name elbow, nice simple... and british! m just glad is not another stpuid american band (some are good though :P)
