Jean Michel Jarre's first live release and perhaps still his best. It documents Jarre's five concerts in China where he played in 1981, the first modern Western composer to do so. Many of the tracks were rearranged for the occasion and were featured alongside seven new compositions.

  • @AmarrStriker Great! Give me a sign if You are ready witho Your cover :). Cheers!

  • @chrisbern75 Found it ! in fact , on korg synths they call these oscillators "Pulse" .. I should have realized a little bit faster the relationship between "pulse" and pwm :) now I've got this sound for my own cover and i'm happy :p

  • @AmarrStriker I am not good in FM synthesis and I dont know how can You make this sound on this way :(. I use mainly the analog synthesis.

  • @chrisbern75 Is PWM a sound attribute that is used only in FM synthesis or so ? I don't find anything about it for my M50 ...

  • @AmarrStriker PWM is a function that works on square oscilators. You can control how should see the square. If it looks like quadrat it sounds very round like clarinet. But you manipulate this PWM and square is thiner or thicker as quadrat it sound different. Sometking like mix from square and saw. You can create interesting nasal sound. Hear synth bass in my newset MJ instrumental "Dont Stop Til You Get Enough". This is not saw. This is square with manipulated PWM.

  • @chrisbern75 PWM ? What's that ? thank you anyways for your very fast answer :)

  • @chrisbern75 Good

  • @AmarrStriker You can use two Square OSC and You must turn the PWM. How much, that You can decide by ear. And You have to detune this both OSC. Eventuel You can put some chorus on this sound.

  • Hi , very good cover thanks ! I've got an M50 and , for some reason I can't find at all any synth sound approaching the main one used in Orient express , the one you play on right hand. Can you please tell me which OSC you use for it and, if any, the effects you applied ? thank you in advance

  • @joseugen Gracias! Eso era mi primero video en YouTube. :) Perdona por mi espanol y saludos!
