like Dragon ball? dude! Dragon Ball is based on the original japanese Monkey King Legend... you want super graphics? go and review some PS# or PC games...

I give you a 1.5... your review is boring, you look for graphics more than gameplay showing us that you are not a true gamer... bad review

@g3rBo I mention Dragon Ball because it is a reference that people will get. It's important rather than name-dropping things that will be arbitrary to most people, even though I did explain that.

Also, don't you think that a review is obligated to at least commentate on how the game visually presents itself? I don't recall ever saying that I wanted in amazing graphics in the review, though.

I think you are reviewing the wrong video game. Want realistic 3D graphics? Play PC games, the Wii is not for you. But, for people who are old-school gamers and know that 3D graphics don't make a good game, this game is beautiful. Nice 2D sprites, nice 2D background, nice gameplay. It remembers me from the good old SNES games, which are actually much better than all these boring generic shooters released in this generation.

@hikorijas If you take a look at my other reviews, you'll realize I'm not just a FPS nut. I can legitimately not like the way this game looks while still enjoying other 2D style games.

well, the real reason games were created wasnt for artistic entertainment, they were created simply for activity. video games are like books: it doesnt matter how great the front cover is, its just about the content inside. yeah this game isnt the best gameplay- wise, but you should be commenting on the fallbacks of its gameplay instead of how it looks as a review.

yeah it could get some awards for looking nice, but whos gonna want to play it if its gameplay is terrible?

Dear reviewer, are you totally uninformd as to retro arcade shooters? Have you never played an arcade game that, that if you died, you went "back to default"?

Shooter fans don't care about graphics? Of course we do. (Though as in ALL genres, pretty picutres cant replace mediocre play action, as it seems may be the case with this title.)

You really miss the point on the graphic style here, though! Are you actually an Anime fan? It's SD zaniness, Like Goemon / Parodius, etc. Actually pretty well drawn. (even if not well animated, with low frame rate)

I'll rent it from Gamefly and play through just to see it. I think it will be an amusing 20 min
