BANIG - I Loved You From The Very Start - New Album Available Now on iTunes!!

International Star Search champion Josephine "Banig" Roberto is finally ready to share her long-awaited Philippine album entitled "Josephine Roberto".

The album consists of original Tagalog and English compositions to assure satisfaction of all listeners, young and old. All original songs are written and produced by Banig and Jhoanna "JoJo" Roberto, a rising female writer, producer, musical arranger, choreographer and rapper, in the music biz.

This album proves another challenge in Banig's versatility as an artist, writer, and producer as this is the first time Banig is musically involved in a Tagalog album. As some of Banig's followers may recall, her very first Tagalog release,"Makinang Kumakanta" under WEA Records, was back when she was 9 years old, barely starting out in the Philippine entertainment world. She then signed with VIVA Records and released her first album "Banig" which composed of mostly revivals such as "One Moment in Time", "Wind Beneath My Wings", "Pandangguhan," "Bonggahan", and of course, "Anyday Now", her winning song in the International Star Search Competition, where she represented the Philippines. The album also included a song called "Musika", Banig's very first composition which is about a little girl's passion for music. Since then, she moved to the U.S. and released "Can You Feel My Heat" under Del-Fi Records and "Silent Whispers", under her own label, Double Play Entertainment, Her first 2 singles, "Boogie On The Dancefloor" and "Walk" were played in several radio stations and dance clubs all over the US. Both singles also received chart action in various radio stations, record pools and dance club charts and Music Industry trade publications.

With so many years of being away from the Philippine entertainment scene, Banig is getting ready to embark in an opportunity that will lead her closer to her fans in her homeland. After years and years of learning her craft, Banig's new album will certainly give her fans what they have been longing for.
