My party's level was only about 36 when I encountered Evil Priest, so the battle was tough but rewarding. The amazing thing about DQ4 is that it requires very little grinding. I spent hours at the casino though to get the falcon blades, meteorite armbands and prayer rings, and since I maxed out the tickets there with 999999 I permitted myself to buy 9 falcon blades, sell them and buy all of my party members that can equip liquid metal armours liquid metal armours. It was fun :)

@HeavyMetalBeliever All Final Fantasy characters have personalities. It's just like saying someone doesnt have one becasue they dont show emotions. That was what Sephiroths only down fall was, he had a goal, wanted to achieve it, and failed. Like all villains of these games.
