@MF11283 its only a shunting loco :\

@Kokosiak1 are you to fucking stupid or to fucking lazy to read a little of what I said and realize I WAS JUST TALKING SHIT???
-
@MF11283 shunting loco doesnt need much more, actually. the torque is necessary.

Sounds like a starter motor I would hear from an older V8 car ... so obviously does not turn the alternator into a motor to crank the motor like big locomotives.
-
@tpvalley Im not an idiot, I was talking shyt fucking around. and HP is TQ X RPM / 5252 for lb ft, dude a torqueless hondoh will pull a bus with the right gearing, because you multiply torque with gearing
-
bhp is something thats worked out by :
torque x rpm/ constant.
so if rpm is low so is bhp, sometimes hp is actually capacity, or it was a while ago.
Anyway the top speeds r usually only about 20-25mph so they have a lot of low speed pull, like an old 70bhp landrover can pull a london bus in low range!

bboooaaaah ! great !
greetings from an engineer from berlin

was just talking shit dude, I know it makes a butt load of torque, Im just used to working around 5000 HP locomotives that struggle to get moving so Im just being a smart ass
215 hp??? can it even move its self?

@MF11283
If you give it full throttle, it actually spins the wheels!

Nice clag! The Rolls C6 is a direct injection oil engine and as such does not need a preheat system. Had you set the excess fuel plunger on the injection pump?

No, i didn´t. There is no cold start lever in the cab, so i have never really thought about it.
