  • I like your videos, but I am a beginner. Is there anyway that you could slow down and explain what you are doing? Thanks. Also I was wondering if you had a video explaining how to work from a ball of thread? Thanks again.

  • @Lynnski4 Please check out my other video called 'Needle Tatting Flower pendant' as it is slower with spoken instruction and no, I do not currently have a video of working off the ball. I might get on made in the future, but it is a technique that I rarely find a use for.

  • I have decided to take up needle tatting, are there any pointers you can give me?

  • @FullmetalSlave Check out the tutorials I have on Instructables and join Intatters, a tatting community for support and resources. Good Luck!

  • can u give a pattern for this

  • @sptmbr93 The written pattern is available on Instructables, just search for totusmel there.

  • I was trying to pace you stitch for stitch while watching the video and stabed my self with the needle!

  • You are an inspiration. I am a shuttle tatter but mow that I have seen your work I ordered a needle tatting book and needles.

Please consider doing a voice over on this to provide detailed explanation. But maybe omce my book comes I will learn all about the closing of rings etc.

    Thank you!

  • @gypsy2814 The thread thickness should match the thickness of the needle you use. For size 10 crochet cotton, which is what I used, use a size 5 needle. For thicker thread or yarn there are larger needles, you will just have to match them to your thread as I have no idea what 'thick thread' you are using.

  • please can you tell me what size needle I should be using fo thick thread I am very new to tatting thank you
