Canadian filmmaker Velcrow Ripper (www.occupylove.org) has been at Occupy Wall Street since the first day. This message is to Occupy Canada, at a time when Occupy camps in Canada are facing threats of eviction. Ripper offers his perspective that love is the movement. By staying rooted in non-violence and compassion, Occupiers can maintain a solid ethical foundation that is unshakeable. Strategic non-violent direct action is key to the flourishing of the movement.
