In 1977 Lee Rector using an Albatross ASG 20 to fly over Little Black Mountain near San Diego, CA. Film Student Peter Brown called Albatross sails in Solana Beach Ca and asked the owners, Tom Price and Keith Nichols if someone could fly for his student class movie project. They suggested Lee Rector. The van in the movie was Lee's "camper" which he lived in on the coast of Southern California parking outside the coastal campgrounds. Fully equipped with bed, oven and curtains made by Lee's mom - and with nothing that could possibly go wrong - Lee volunteered. Enjoy - Little was Lee aware of the saying "hair today, gone tomorrow".
