Thanks so much for this, I bought "Wings of Joy" when it came out based on a review in Cream magazine. About half way through the first side I was scared by what I was hearing, after listening to it 2 more times that night I was in love. Cranes make the most beautiful cathartic music ever! this song still gives me chills like it did in 91. They're the only band I ever loved that I still love completely in their humility, vulnerability, contemplation, and their triumphant humanity, True Beauty!

@imbrian75 How did I miss this comment! You really do get what they've always been for me as well, wow and thanks for the great observations! They were a good band and really great people too, but their work was a real "experience" able to touch off deeply personal chords!
