John Huston's The Asphalt Jungle. One of the greatest noir classics released in 1950 with stellar performances from Sterling Hayden, Louis Calhern, Jean Hagen, Sam Jaffe, and a young Marilyn Monroe.
@LANMQI Not quite. Betty Noyes dubbed for the singing voice of Debbie Reynolds in Singing In The Rain not Jean Hagen. However for the song "Would You" Debbie Reynolds, in the film, is dubbing for Jean Hagen whereas in actual fact the voice you hear is actually that of Jean Hagen so effectively Jean Hagen is dubbing for Debbie Reynolds who is dubbing for Jean Hagen!
If somebody made a film trailer like this I reckon it would get noticed amongst all the rapid-cut edited music vids that pass for trailers these days. It would certainly be memorable.

Jean Hagen sounds so different from her role as lina lamont in singing in the rain. that just means she's a good actress
