Live in Marciac, France, 1999. Wayne Krantz (guitar), Keith Carlock (drums) & Tim Lefebvre (bass). This is a small excerpt (one of the most amazing moments, imho). Make sure you watch the whole program divided in 3 parts here in this channel.

  • where I can find the whole video?

  • After I uploaded this little excerpt, some people asked for the whole 25 min video, so I split it in three parts and uploaded them (pt 1, pt 2, pt 3). Just check my channel. They should be easy to find.

  • Fantastic. A very original group of players. Great concepts. Great tones.

I'd like to see the whole show!

  • Uploading it now!

  • Guitar based trios are really changing. Wayne is my favorite contemporary artist but I am a guitarist myself. Like Wayne says he focuses on improvisation not composition. It's a rare bird who gains popularity without a reconizable signature tune.

  • Yeah, I'm also a big fan of Wayne's (I'm a guitarist too, despite being occasionally amazed by drumers). I'll post the rest of this video soon, as his comments and concepts were inspirational and revealing to me, besides his music, of course.

  • A terrible noise

  • nice

  • @eric58gib haha im a bassist and i have to say.. i learn alot by watching this video already

  • By the way, note the closeness physically of the 3 particular individuals.....on what I am sure was a larger stage. Great key in staying tight and producing a unified sound on a large stage.

  • This is one tight group of people. I am looking forward to seeing them at The Highline Ballroom in the latter part of April. I must say to anyone's observation, these three guys were having a great night that night. Wouldn't you agree?

  • F*cking amazing ... still stunned every time I hear it.

  • One of the greatest moments in musical history.

  • well he was 27 instead of 37 im sure by the time im 37 ill have put on some weight too... all the traveling and sitting on a bus touring non stop, doesnt exactly let ya go jogging too much eh? :)

  • WK is the funkiest guitar player of all times ........
