Would love a Caterham but they are so expensive for what they are !

Caterham kindly sold me that actual car. As the video suggests it has little grip in the wet, but, I can assure you, defies the laws of physics in the dry. Takes off like a scolded cat, stops on a sixpence, and sounds fantastic on cam. I have a RenaultSport 200, and the Caterham would leave it standing in the dry. And who wants to drive fast on public roads in the wet? The road is not a racetrack.....ahem. The missus loves it too!

@GrotrianSeiler You say you "know" a lot about cars which is great. But "knowing" and actually driving are very different things. Perhaps you have driven a Caterham on the road and you found it a "joke".
However I owned a Caterham for 11 years and drove 35,000 miles on the road and nothing else I have driven (Impreza WRX, Audi S8, Elise, etc) came even close to the true driving enjoyment you get from a Caterham.
There is a big difference between knowledge and experience.
