Alyssa's POV
I walk with Nick into the hotel, helping him with suitcases and other bags to bring into the hotel. We walk past Joe. Joe glances at me, smiling. I blush pink. I look forward, pursing my lips together to keep my cool. I'm actually dating Joe... I can't believe it... "What was that all about? Did I rip my jeans?" Nick asks. I look over to him. "No..." I answer rather quickly. Nick nudges my arm. "That was a test to see if you would actually spill about you and Joe dating but, you didn't...." Nick breathes. I feel a sudden spur of shock drowned my thoughts. "W-wha...- I'm smarter than you think." Nick winks. I stop in my tracks, a little stunned. I ponder for a moment, then I catch up to Nick, running to him. "I'm really happy for you guys. I knew both of you would crack soon enough." Nick smiles one of his calm, laid back smiles. "True that..." I say, breathing out a short breath. Joe all of a sudden jogs over, coming to my side. "Hey, Lyssa...." He smiles. "Hey, Nick." Nick nods and looks ahead. When Joe holds my hand, Nick shoots me a closed lip smile. I look back at him, feeling my lips curve into one too.
"We're on our way to the hotel. I'll call if we get stuck in traffic." I read the text Joe just sent me as I get out of the shower. I dry my hair, texting back. "Okay. Hurry back! How was the concert?" I look at myself in the mirror, looking at my eyes. It looks like I haven't slept in a week. Its probably from all the tears I've been crying. I just can't get down the fact that I freakin' bit Joe... That was probably the most biggest mistake of my life. I hear my phone go off. I look at the screen. "It was kick-ass, baby!" I suddenly smile weakly. "Glad you had fun. Just got out of the shower. See you soon." I set my phone down. I all of a sudden hear a bump outside the bathroom door. My heart starts to race. I clutch onto my bath towel, starting to hardly shake. I open the door a crack, peering out into the bedroom. "Hello?" I ask. There is complete, utter silence. My breathing quickens. "Hello?" I ask again. I hear another bump coming from the other side of the room. "HELLO?" I ask loudly. "Alyssa..." I hear the slayers alarming voice fills my ears. I feel myself choke up, almost to the point of fainting. I step out into the bedroom, looking around nervously. There is not a soul there. Am I hallucinating? I'm I seriously that paranoid? No... I heard his voice. "Alyssa... Come out..." I hear his raspy whisper call. "R-Robert?" I ask, trying to fallow the voice. "Come out, Alyssa... Before I kill
you..."After I hear that, I run into the bathroom, closing the door behind me. I seep into the corner of the room, hiding behind the garbage can that is there. My wet hair is starting to get cold now, as cold as my body.
