@MetalExtensionTV The PS2 system data is not for memory cards. It is so that you can play ps2 hardrive based games such as Final Fantasy 11.
-
@shuyin200 you should download ps2 system data and make a memory card to save as well
-
@Endlesslove1974 you should download ps2 system data on playstationstore and if this is a 40GB it wont work , it either should be 60GB or 80GB or 160GB but no 320GB alright and you should have the original game no downloads from the internet

it's like the ghosts from silent hill 4 are trying to cross over.
-
@SaddenedSoul i also have a original 80GB andi cant play ps2 on ps3 = (
-
How can I play PS2 games on PS3? Do I have to have the original game or is it ok if I download it from the internet?
-
@shuyin200 I've got a 60gb and probably a third of all doors I encounter have this glitch going on.
-
@ChaosStep Unless you have the Euro 60gb which is equivalent to the 80gb.
-
@ChaosStep This does not happen on a 60gb ps3. If it's happening on yours it means you have an 80gb ps3. Either the motorstorm or mgs4 bundled ps3. I have both a 60 and 80 and already made a video addressing this problem.
The 60gb can play 97% ps2 games without issue.
The 80gb can play 56% ps2 games without issue.

1:33, try stop running and standing there, see she becomes like a shadow....
@SaddenedSoul how did you make a PS2 game work on the PS3??

@SentencedMorning The PS3 I have (the original 80 GB) can play PS2 games, unlike the newer models.

This happens on my 60gb, nearly all the doors go funny colours or are see through.
Is it fixable?

@ChaosStep
As far as I know, no. The only solution would be to play it on a regular PS2. It's a bit disappointing, but at least it's not as severe as losing game data, or something similar.
