@stevensnell100 Oh I'm quite well aware of why 90% of blacks choose not to vote R. It is a travesty and an outrage, and it is not the fault of conservatives -- unless you count it as a fault that they've been thus far unable to overcome the shameful tactics of the left in stoking unjustified fears, blame, and rage in the black communities for cynical political purposes.

@wotzamatta Many problems with this post. Ignoring race or racism is not the same as being anti-racist. The "colorblindness" conservatives advocate mainly serves to normalize the status quo, blame racial inequalities on an intractable and inevitable "culture" as race, and obviate anyone of responsibility for addressing the real problems that persist around race in the United States. You may want to take it more seriously that around around 90% of "each individual black" chooses not to vote R.
@stevensnell100 Of course it's provocative, but there's no need to deny it. You're just as race-conscious as the other leftists in America, so be loud and proud. For the record, I was there, and (a) he was not the only black person there, (b) blacks were totally welcome there, as they are at any other conservative gathering, because nobody cares about race on our side, and (c) why very few blacks go Republican is a choice that each individual black makes.

@stevensnell100 Is it provocative to say that every single person in that room other than the speaker is white? They are.

@stevensnell100
I know you're trying to be provocative, but can't see your point.

Look at all those white people, listening so carefully!
