Wow....vaya las pretenciones de esta canción....Con sus cambios de ritmo, su tempo indispuesto, los cambios vocales..todo quiere hacernos conocer la sombra solo para redimirnos luego. Lo mejor que tienen las grandes promesas es que a veces se cumplen, y esta canción es el producto de hacendosos orfebres. Cuántas veces podemos disfrutar de algo así?

@TofuBrown I know how you feel! I'm also sixteen but living in England. None of my friends have heard of Pulp or Jarvis - or any of the music I listen to actually! They all listen to the monotonous drivel with the same beat that is popular now. I wish music like this was around now. :( I love The Wombats who have a similar sort of vibe about them, but no-one'll compare to Pulp. I wish I'd have been around to experience more of the '90s!

I can't believe I was only two when this was filmed. I love Pulp so much. I mean, I love a lot of the Britpop movement of the nineties, but Pulp were by far my favourite. I have both of Jarvis' solo albums too. Being a sixteen year old living in Wales kind of sucks when you try to talk about great musicians such as Jarvis. Nobody knows him here... =[

There are very few albums that I actually remember what I thought and felt when I heard it for the first time, and A Different Class is one of them (others being Arcade Fire's Funeral and Neon Bible). Being American and not really paying attention to British music in the 90s, I missed out on Pulp until 2003. I didn't know much about them but I was intrigued and bought the album. I remember putting it on, and starting to cook dinner and being so blown away that I sat down and just listened.
