[PS3] Tales of Xillia (テイルズ オブ エクシリア) First Trailer / PV1

(Translations courtesy of YumeHanabi) This is the first trailer released for Namco Bandai's 15th Tales anniversary title, Tales of Xillia. The game will feature two main characters, a first in the series. Character designers include both Kosuke Fujishima and Mutsumi Inomata, music by Motoi Sakuraba, opening theme by Ayumi Hamasaki and animation movies by Ufotable.

The main hero, Jude Mathis (voiced by Yonaga Tsubasa, designed by Fujishima), is a young man studying to be a doctor. The main heroine, Mira Maxwell (voiced by Sawashiro Miyuki, designed by Inomata) is a spirits master who has control over the four main elements fire, water, wind and earth.

The game is set for a 2011 release in Japan. No news yet for a US release.

Sold 525,000 copies the first week in japan. Why? Advertising. Not every1 is a tales-nut like me n will dig to find this game. They need 2 bring this game over n advertise it like they do in japan. I see mediocre games get so many TV and online ads n do crazy sales, but i've yet to see a tales of graces f / tales of abyss3D commercial even though theyre comin within the next 6 months. Do your part Namco, cnt expect us 2 buy a game we dont know is out because you didnt tell anyone (advertise) : /

i don't know why (and I'm not trying 2 troll) but it feels like these tales of games are lacking something 2 me every time i play one it just doesn't feel the same as like Kingdom hearts does maybe its the graphics IDK don't get me wrong still fun as hell but.....

@glpace Advertisement is the single most important thing in a business, if no one knows it's there, no one will buy it. I'm guessing the economy is to bad to translate it, and they woulnd't make enough money in the US and EU

another tales game and i just found out (SHAME ON ME). And even no US release yet? What are they thinking over there? The series are hugely popular all over the world. Problably going to do the same as with Vesperia as well, bringing it out in Europe a half a year, a year later than US! Everyone should be able to play this at around the same release date imo!

@potatopac yeah, well I can read hiragana and katakana except kanji and I understand it when the characters are talking, I usually use my ipod touch japanese keyboard when I don't understand a word. I got it in japanese because there is no english version of it.
